Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer at multiple levels to develop and improve manufacturing processes for maximum throughput and resource efficiency. The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, DfX concepts, and collaboration across engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities include implementing changes, documenting processes, mentoring, and ensuring cost/schedule targets are met, with potential U.S. security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree in a technical field (Manufacturing Engineering preferred).
• 5–7 years progressive/technical experience for Manufacturing Engineer III/IV/V levels.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (US Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and improves manufacturing processes to maximize throughput.
• Collaborates with internal/external resources to resolve technical issues.
• Implements producibility concepts and understands DfX of products and processes.
• Documents manufacturing processes with emphasis on training and standardized formats.
• Maintains shop floor staffing, tooling, and work instructions with cost and schedule targets.
