Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc., including its KUAS division, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve production processes for jet-powered unmanned systems. You will implement producibility concepts (DfX), define work standards, and coordinate changes across product lines to optimize throughput and quality.

The role requires collaboration with IPT, suppliers, and internal teams, with emphasis on ergonomics, visual aids, and standardized processes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field; 2–5 years progressive/technical experience for level II.
• Minimum 5–7 years progressive/technical experience for level III.
• Minimum 7–10 years progressive/technical experience for level IV.

Responsibilities

• Develops and improves manufacturing processes to maximize throughput and efficiency.
• Coordinate engineering changes and new product introductions with schedule and data integrity.
• Review and approve engineering design changes and manage tool maintenance and calibration.
• Design workstation layouts focusing on ergonomics, ergonomics, and 5S/zero-defect practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with supply chain on materials and tooling.
