Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III in Faribault, MN to drive continuous improvement and mentorship across engineering and operations. You will lead cross-functional kaizen events, develop labor standards, and optimize processes from design to production with Lean principles.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production and lead continuous improvement events.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and lead organizational initiatives.
• Apply work measurement techniques to analyze, estimate staffing, and drive process improvements.
• Analyze operational data to optimize workforce utilization, layout, and workflow with lean principles.
• Define equipment/tool design and manage procurement and project training.
