Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III in Minnesota (Plymouth or Faribault) to lead manufacturing initiatives on new product programs. You will collaborate with design, quality, supply chain and maintenance teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency across processes.

You will design equipment and tooling, manage procurement and project execution, mentor junior engineers, and drive lean improvements, kaizen events and cost reductions in a dynamic HVAC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Solidworks, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office and MS Project experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent manufacturing on new product programs and collaborate on cross-functional product design teams to enhance manufacturability.
• Provide manufacturing support to NPI teams, including process flow adjustments and tool/fixture design.
• Define equipment/tool design for new and existing production processes and manage projects from inception to training.
• Analyze and optimize labor, workflow, and facility layout using lean principles to improve throughput and cost efficiency.
