Job summary

Eaton Corporation seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our Beaver, PA facility. This role leads process development, tooling, and automation initiatives to enhance productivity and quality, with strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership.

The incumbent drives continuous improvement, implements Industry 4.0 concepts, and manages capital projects from concept through implementation. Salary ranges reflect experience and market conditions in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in assembly or machining production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and CI initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and CI methodologies.
• Identify and implement productivity improvements to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct time studies, establish labor standards, and determine machine production rates and staffing requirements.
• Interface with manufacturing teams to optimize existing processes and improve production performance.
• Provide technical expertise and daily operational support to achieve production, quality, and efficiency objectives.
• Lead factory automation initiatives through the specification, design, programming, simulation, and validation of automated systems.
• Coordinate machine and assembly process runoffs, capability studies, and SPC validation at supplier and internal facilities.
• Independently lead manufacturing engineering projects, capital investments, and new product launches from concept through implementation.
