Job summary

ClarkDietrich Engineering Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet product specs and quality standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate launches for new or revised products, and apply CAD tools like AutoCAD/SolidWorks; PLC/HMI programming and process analysis to improve efficiency, cost, and reliability.

Qualifications

Plan and manage multiple priorities with a forward-looking view (3–6 month horizon).
Strong technical skills in manufacturing processes including layout, assembly, and production equipment.
Experience in product development and driving cost reduction and quality improvements.
Ability to solve complex problems and work under stress with good communication.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes per specs and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed layouts using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
Program with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Drives, and HMIs; familiarity with Siemens PLCs/HMIs is a plus.
Coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products and train teams.
Design, test, source, and cost-justify tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods.
Perform cost analyses to drive improvements in quality and efficiency.
Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
