Job summary

ClarkDietrich Engineering Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams, design manufacturing layouts with CAD tools, program PLCs/HMI systems, and drive process improvements to reduce costs and boost efficiency. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Computer assisted design proficiency required.
• Military equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education/experience.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements optimal, cost effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Additionally, the position holder recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls. Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs, research design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, production equipment and systems integration.
• Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment using AutoCAD/Solidworks
• Programming with Allen Bradley PLCs, Drives, HMIs
• AMS and Siemens PLCs/HMIs would be a plus
• Networking in IP and Modicon environments
• Rexroth servos
• Panel Design
• Electrical distribution systems
• Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results
• Designs, implements and tests/sources and cost justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
• Strong troubleshooting and analyses skills
• Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and improved efficiency
• Represents manufacturing on cross functional teams

• Production Management Experience

Education And/Or Experience

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Computer assisted design proficiency
