Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Quonset Point, RI to optimize electronics and electromechanical manufacturing. You will design production workstations, develop process workflows, and partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Operations to meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment for complex electrical assemblies.
• Understanding of electronics hardware manufacturing (PCBAs, sensors, power systems) and electromechanical systems.
• Experience owning a product in manufacturing from start to finish, coordinating with internal and external parties to meet schedules.
• Experience analyzing material flow, pull systems, Kanban, Min/Max, and line-side racking.
• Familiarity with MES and ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) in production operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and 3D CAD files.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes to meet NPI and full-rate production goals through workflows and work instructions.
• Identify bottlenecks caused by layout, parts shortages, staffing, and other constraints by analyzing cycle time and quality metrics.
• Provide technical guidance to the production team and liaise between engineering, supply chain and other departments.
• Collaborate with Quality to set standards and inspection processes ensuring manufacturing capabilities meet requirements.
• Organize workshops to generate ideas that solve complex manufacturing issues.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and team engagement.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safety culture.
