Job summary

SPX Technologies, Madison, AL, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead OlympusMAX coil production processes, drive improvements, and shape the manufacturing strategy. You will partner with operators, maintenance, quality, and engineering to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost performance.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, experience in coil fabrication, and a proven track record in process development, automation awareness, and capital project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related technical environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
• Experience with coil or heat exchanger fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development and optimization for OlympusMAX coil production.
• Drive capital projects including equipment specification, installation, validation, and startup.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing standards, work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, and KPIs.
• Support ISO 9001 QMS implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and cost.
