Job summary

SPX Technologies in Madison, AL, is seeking an Operations Manager for Fabrication to lead safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people across multiple shifts in automated and painter operations. You will develop supervisors and hourly staff, drive continuous improvement, and translate demand into capacity and resource needs while partnering with quality, engineering, and maintenance.

The role requires strong floor leadership, Lean deployment, and hands-on collaboration with HR and other functions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive supervisory/management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading multiple shifts and production teams to meet goals.
• Lean, Six Sigma or CI training or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors across multiple shifts.
• Own safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance for fabrication operations.
• Translate demand into capacity, labor, equipment, and floor-space requirements.
