Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the new campus facility. You will drive process improvements, line balancing, and capital projects to boost productivity while reducing costs.

You’ll work with Marley and Ingenia teams, applying Lean and Six Sigma to manufacturing cells and layouts. You will collaborate across production, quality, and maintenance, providing data-driven guidance and creating business cases for new processes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a manufacturing engineering role with process improvement experience.
• Design and implement machine/assembly cells and factory layouts.
• Understanding BOM accuracy, inventory movements, and material transactions.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; cost estimation skills.
• Proficient in data analysis, standard work studies, and reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to determine changes in methods, tooling, or equipment to improve productivity and quality.
• Lead line balancing studies and develop accurate rates and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with management to define production goals and provide statistical guidance.
• Develop business cases, capital requests, and project plans from inception to completion.
• Design for manufacturability and lead new processes, equipment, and layouts.
• Monitor changes and sustain improvements with cross-functional teams.
