Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to shape the manufacturing design for the Missile division. You will ensure production quality and support new product development across the full manufacturing value chain, including DFA, tooling, process creation, and vendor collaboration.

The role requires relocation to Costa Mesa, CA for 1 month and Atlanta, GA for 2 months of training. Housing and transportation are provided during training.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or similar prototyping position.
• World-class mission assurance, quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
• Genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learning.
• Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing from prototyping through large-scale production.
• Collaborate with design engineers to drive DFA in design efforts.
• Own documentation for hardware scale-up (MBOMs, work instructions).
• Advise on quality management and business applications for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal customers and planning teams to meet capacity and demand.
• Analyze metrics for continuous improvement (cost, QI, capacity).
• Travel to suppliers and partner sites for sourcing and process implementation.
