Job summary

Anduril Industries in Ashville, OH, seeks an experienced manufacturing engineer to own the Altius production value-chain from current rate to high-volume deployment. You will drive DFM feedback into design, optimize tooling, and build scalable production lines with robust QA.

This role requires relocation for training: 1 month in Costa Mesa, CA, and 2 months in Atlanta, GA. Housing and transportation are provided; travel to suppliers and partners is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in constrained environments.
• World-class mission assurance mindset with quality focus.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
• Regular travel between locations is required.
• Eligible for US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing value-chain for Altius from current rate to high-volume deployment.
• Drive design-for-manufacturability feedback into design and tooling decisions.
• Act as a manufacturing liaison for mechanical and avionics with DFx focus.
• Own documentation required for hardware at scale (MBOMs, work instructions).
• Advise on quality management and manufacturing-related programs.
• Collaborate with internal customers to define capacity actions.
• Analyze metrics for cost reduction and capacity increases.
• Travel to suppliers and partner sites to perform sourcing and resolve issues.
