Job summary

Clarios, LLC in Winston‑Salem, NC is seeking a Manufacturing & Controls Engineer to contribute to mechanical, electrical, and system design for assembly equipment. You will develop process specs, draft work instructions, and update PFMEA documentation as part of a cross‑functional team.

The role focuses on leading smaller projects, providing production support, and ensuring safety and quality standards across processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to design pneumatic and hydraulic systems, create pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, and ability to interpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to access and edit machine PLC code; RSLogix/Studio5000 PLC programming software- Allen Bradley.
• 3D modeling and 2D drafting experience; SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office applications.
• Other beneficial skills: Minitab, Six Sigma

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical, electrical, and system design deliverables for projects.
• Create and update Operator and Maintenance Work instructions for assembly processes and equipment.
• Update Assembly Process Flow Charts and PFMEA documentation.
• Lead smaller development projects and support production expansion equipment.
• Provide technical support for plant operations including maintenance and capital projects.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met.
