Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Manufacturing & Controls Engineer for our Winston-Salem, NC assembly plant. The role involves engineering mechanical, electrical, and system design deliverables for projects, and developing process changes for assembly equipment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and 1+ year in a manufacturing environment, with skills in electrical schematics, PLC programming, and 3D/2D drafting using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and RSLogix/Studio 5000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred)
• 1+ year engineering experience in manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and design pneumatic/hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-size development projects with business impact
• Provide technical support for plant operations and capital projects
• Develop equipment statements of work and acceptance test plans
• Travel to supplier sites for equipment qualification and testing
• Update assembly process flow charts and PFMEA documentation
