Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Production Control Supervisor at our Winston-Salem, NC plant to manage materials flow, schedules and vendor interactions. You will direct manufacturing planning, supervise union staff and drive safety, quality and on-time delivery.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You will lead KPI-driven improvements, collaborate with multiple departments and ensure adherence to environmental and company policies while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree and work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Production Planning & Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory Control or equivalent fields.
• Knowledge of inventory systems, planning software and PC tools; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control over scheduling, recording and ordering of materials for production.
• Plan and direct the work of operators within the department and drive safety and quality.
• Establish daily manufacturing schedules to meet shipping commitments and inventory requirements.
• Supervise union personnel and train direct reports to meet targets and communicate across departments.
• Apply continuous improvement methods (Six Sigma, 5S, Lean) to drive improvements.
