Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Manufacturing & Controls Engineer in Ohio to join a dynamic facility. You will deliver mechanical, electrical, and system design for projects, update workflows, and advance assembly processes and equipment.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, proficiency with 3D modeling (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and SCADA data reporting. Strong collaboration across teams and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to design pneumatic and hydraulic systems and schematics.
• Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drafting; SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office.
• SCADA experience in pulling and reporting on production data.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams on equipment changes and upgrades.
• Act as Project Lead on smaller development projects impacting business objectives.
• Provide technical support for plant operations including maintenance and capital projects.
• Prepare project review information for leadership at defined frequencies.
• Implement process changes and assist with equipment expansion in assembly.
• Coordinate with Safety, Environmental, and Quality departments to meet requirements.
• Communicate with plant staff to align project focus and remove barriers to production.
• Develop equipment statements of work and acceptance test plans.
• Travel to supplier sites for equipment qualification and testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
