Job description

Our Client, a Medical Device and Healthcare company, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for their Plymouth, MN location.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage projects including new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions, supporting new product introductions.
2. Provide guidance and technical mentorship to engineers and technicians.
3. Conduct Process FMEAs and Process Validations.
4. Improve product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput using Lean manufacturing concepts.
5. Coordinate the design, procurement, build, and debug of tooling, machinery, and test equipment.
6. Support divisional initiatives in line with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
7. Support outsourcing of current production assemblies to outside contract manufacturers, including planning, equipment moves, supply chain component transfer, process knowledge transfer, validation support, and continuous improvement activities.
