Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for our large-scale manufacturing facility in West Union, SC. You will lead environmental, health, and safety programs for ~1,500 employees and ensure practical, on-floor execution of EHS requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, program evaluation, and strong collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and operations to close gaps and sustain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading EHS programs in complex manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the site's EHS management system and close gaps with corrective actions.
• Lead Lockout/Tagout program and machine safety improvements.
• Oversee environmental compliance including air, water, and waste.
• Investigate incidents and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications and-based programs.
