Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Development Engineer for the Tucson, AZ site to lead and coordinate manufacturing improvements across value streams from early development through production transition.

You will apply your knowledge of manufacturing capabilities, product technologies, and factory requirements to establish and execute the manufacturing plan and influence program decisions, ensuring producibility and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing production and process development.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret security clearance prior to start date.
• Ability to obtain DoD access (ATF clearance).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects across extended value streams.
• Develop manufacturing data packages and workflows.
• Provide technical guidance to factory engineers.
• Improve producibility and resolve constraints across the program.
