Job summary

Olin Corporation seeks a Senior Cost Accounting Analyst in Lake Jackson, TX, offering a hybrid work arrangement with up to 2 remote days per week. The role supports cost control for manufacturing assets and oversees cost-of-sales drivers, capex, working capital, and productivity initiatives.

You will contribute to close processes, budgeting, and management reporting with SAP in a manufacturing setting. Requires a finance/accounting degree and 5+ years in cost accounting, with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CMA or CPA certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and SOX/internal controls.
• ERP system proficiency; SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with journal entries.
• Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support physical inventory observations and inventory accounting accuracy.
• Review fixed assets and capitalization/depreciation processes.
• Analyze results, prepare management reports, and deliver ad hoc analyses.
• Coordinate site estimates/forecasts and support annual budgeting.
