The Addison Group is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant / Cost Accounting Manager for a growing manufacturing operation in Everett, WA. This hands-on role focuses on product costing, inventory valuation, BOM maintenance, and month-end close, collaborating with operations, engineering, and purchasing to improve cost reporting and efficiency.

• Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with BOMs, standard costing, overhead allocation, and variances.
• Experience owning month-end close related to inventory and COGS.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Onsite parking preferred and ability to work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsabilidades

• Own month-end close for inventory, COGS, and manufacturing costs.
• Maintain standard costs, actual production costs, labor, overhead, and variances.
• Develop BOMs and production cost rolls.
• Analyze inventory movements across WIP, raw materials, and finished goods.
• Provide actual-versus-budget analysis and manufacturing cost reporting.
• Evaluate financial impact of design/material changes and production methods.
• Monitor overhead rates with Operations leadership.
• Lead excess/obsolete inventory reviews and inventory control initiatives.
• Ensure ERP data integrity with production and inventory teams.
• Identify improvements in cost accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support job and project costing and new product costing.
• Partner with plant leadership to understand cost drivers and profitability.
