Clarity Search Partners is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant for a recently opened manufacturing facility in the City of Industry. The role requires cost accounting expertise to review product costs, allocate fixed and variable costs, analyze variances, and assist with month-end and year-end closes related to cost of goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review new product costs for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify fixed vs variable costs and key drivers of profitability.
• Compare planned costs to actuals and explain variances.
• Prepare cost of goods budget from BOM and routing details.
• Analyze product profitability and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Support month-end and year-end close related to cost of goods.
• Identify monthly purchase price variance impacts on profitability.
• Advise management on cost issues and cost control measures.
• Collaborate with operations to identify capital expenditures and ROI.
