Job summary

Saminco Manufacturing, LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial activities in a hands-on role based in Belle, West Virginia. You will oversee monthly closes, financial reporting, inventory and cost accounting, budgeting, audits, and internal controls while partnering with executives to drive profitability and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Eight or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Experience with financial reporting, GL, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred.
ERP systems and advanced Excel experience.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and cash-flow reporting.
Ensure GL integrity, reconciliations, and supporting records.
Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost control.
Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and costing analyses.
Lead internal controls, audits, and compliance activities.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to executives.
Develop performance measures for leadership and operations.
Supervise accounting staff and cross-functional collaboration.
