Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a site controller to manage financial reporting for two small plants, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

You will prepare statements, forecasts, and annual plans, while optimizing working capital and coordinating with operations finance. The role reports to the North America Controllership Director and requires 7+ years of manufacturing finance experience, CPA preferred, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• 7+ years experience or an equivalent combination
• CPA preferred for highly qualified candidates

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
• Oversee month-end close and accounting processes
• Monitor working capital and reporting for plant operations
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Travel up to 10% domestically
