Job summary

Saminco Manufacturing, LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial functions. This role oversees financial reporting, inventory and cost accounting, budgeting, internal controls, audits, cash flow, and strategic financial partnering with executives.

The position requires hands-on leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with operations to strengthen profitability. This is an on-site role based in Belle, West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or comparable advanced credential preferred.
• Eight+ years of progressive accounting/finance and leadership responsibility.
• Strong experience with financial reporting, GL, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, cycle counts, and variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting process improvement.
• Ability to lead staff and partner with executives, auditors, lenders, and advisers.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, budgets, cash-flow, and management reports.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial performance, explain variances, and suggest actions to improve results.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and cost reporting.
• Manage external audits, internal controls, and compliance.
