Job summary

Coilmaster Corporation, a Marmon Holdings company, seeks a seasoned Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and growth initiatives. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and consolidation while developing scalable costing and FP&A capabilities.

You’ll partner with the Finance leader and executive team, oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and drive process improvements across a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
• Strong background in FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 strongly preferred); ERP implementation experience is a plus
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with consolidation systems is a bonus
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills
• Clear and effective communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Willingness to be hands-on with transactional work during transitions or projects
• Preferred: Public accounting or audit background
• Experience with complex manufacturing cost structures
• Demonstrated success in high-growth or transformation-stage environments

Responsibilities

• Lead core accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, A/P review, and audit prep
• Document workflows and define internal controls across Requisition-to-Payment and Order-to-Cash
• Support development of a scalable, sustainable costing system
• Maintain parent company consolidation system
• Manage and develop the accounting team
• Own controller-level responsibility for financial reporting, balance sheet, P&L, and internal controls
• Partner with Finance leader to provide insights to the President and executive team
• Lead month-end reporting, support FP&A, budgeting and forecasting
• Drive business support, financial strategy, and continuous improvement
