Job summary

Samico Manufacturing, LLC seeks an experienced General Manager to lead its heavy fabrication, welding, and equipment rebuild operations serving the mining industry in West Virginia. You will own site leadership including safety, customer service, production delivery, quality, financial performance, and workforce development.

The GM will balance customer commitments with workforce leadership, safety compliance, and continuous improvement, while steering strategic initiatives, capital planning,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial operations, fabrication, mining, or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage safety, quality, delivery, and financial results.
• Experience guiding organizational change and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and compliance culture, enforce safe practices and training.
• Oversee production scheduling, job execution, and customer delivery.
• Maintain quality standards, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Own facility financial performance including budgets, cost control, and forecasting.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
