Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of direct manufacturing engineering experience including high-volume assembly and NPI.
• Experience owning manufacturing strategy from concept to volume production.

Responsibilities

• Serve as manufacturing voice in design trades; influence product architecture and assembly processes.
• Define end-to-end manufacturing strategy across build iterations from prototype to volume production.
• Establish frameworks and criteria for readiness and manufacturing readiness process.
• Develop assembly methods (joining, fastening, adhesive bonding, press-fits, automation) for rapid iteration.
• Define build instrumentation and data capture to inform design and process feedback.
• Drive line concept, equipment spec, and vendor selection; oversee commissioning.
• Design quick-turn fixtures and tooling; assess build-vs-buy options for tooling.
• Engage with OEMs and suppliers to optimize production readiness.
• Identify opportunities to reduce non-value-add steps and improve learning velocity.
• Mentor engineers and uphold safety and operational discipline.
