Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application.
• 5+ years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with assembly methods (joining, fastening, adhesive bonding).
• Familiarity with production system design, vendor engagement, and equipment bring‑up.
• Understanding of DFM/DFA and iterative product development.
• Ability to work across cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product design teams to provide DFM/DFA feedback and promote producible assembly processes.
• Develop and validate assembly methods for complex electromechanical products (joining, fastening, adhesive bonding).
• Support PFMEA development and contribute process knowledge upstream in product development.
• Define line concepts, requirements, sizing, timing, material flow, equipment specs, and commissioning.
• Contribute to line requirements like layout, work content, cycle times, rates, and headcount.
• Support design of new assembly equipment, fixturing, and vendor RFQ, FAT, and deployment.
• Coordinate with OEMs, tooling suppliers, and automation integrators for projects.
• Assist end-to-end project execution and production readiness (safety, quality, throughput, scrap reduction).
• Identify opportunities to reduce non‑value‑added work and drive continuous improvements.
• Develop and document assembly processes, work instructions, and control plans.
