Dover Precision Components in Houston is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate milling machines, machining flat or curved surfaces on metal workpieces such as machine, tool, or die parts. You will study blueprints, position and secure the workpiece, and verify alignment to spec.

Expect 10+ years of experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and GD&T proficiency. You will read complex blueprints, set up manual and CNC machines, and mentor others.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of trade school or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GD&T and tight-tolerance finish-grade components.
• Ability to read blueprints and set up manual and CNC milling machines.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate milling machines to mill flat or curved surfaces on metal workpieces.
• Study blueprints to determine operation sequence and finished dimensions.
• Position and secure workpieces on machine table; select feed rate and cutting speed.
• Verify alignment and use appropriate tooling to machine to spec.
