Dover Precision Components, Odessa, Texas, is seeking a Manual Machinist to set up and operate manual lathes and mills to tight tolerances. You will determine speeds/feeds, sharpen tools, and verify finished parts against blueprints.

Requirements include a high school diploma with shop training and 2–4 years of manual milling/turning experience. Must be willing to work overtime and adhere to safety protocols.

Formación

• High school diploma with two years shop training or equivalent.
• 2–4 years’ experience operating a manual mill or lathe.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/process sheets.
• Proficient with gauges, micrometers, Vernier calipers.
• Willing to work extra hours and weekends as required.
• Strong safety and quality focus.

Responsabilidades

• Operates lathes, mills and related equipment with supervision.
• Reads drawings and sets up operations.
• Selects tooling and fixtures; adjusts machines as required.
• Performs routine maintenance and keeps work area clean.
• Produces parts to tight tolerances and reports discrepancies.
• Submits inspection reports as required.
