Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. seeks a Virtual Construction Senior Manager to lead BIM coordination, 4D sequencing, and model-based quality control.

You will guide cross-functional teams, set SOPs, and scale VDC workflows across projects, partnering with clients and design teams to resolve conflicts before field execution. The role focuses on strategic leadership, staffing, budgets, and adopting new tools to drive efficiency and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of dedicated virtual design and construction experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing others—including managing or mentoring team leads.
• Experience allocating staffing and managing budget across multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing virtual construction strategies on complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of BIM tools and VDC processes; active practice preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead external stakeholders.
• A four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the virtual construction practice, aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
• Lead the integration of virtual construction methodologies into project delivery.
• Enhance and implement SOPs and BIM Execution Plans for consistent BIM workflows.
• Identify areas for improvement within the team and across the organization.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging tools and trends to scale VDC capabilities.
• Uphold corporate policies and audit compliance across the function.
• Prepare communications and training on process changes affecting workflows.
