Job summary

DAVIS Construction seeks a Senior Virtual Construction Engineer to lead BIM/VDC workflows on complex projects. You will direct model coordination, supervise deliverables, and mentor junior staff, aligning BIM efforts with project controls and schedules.

You will manage federated models, clash detection, and RFIs, while driving efficient workflows and QA/QC to ensure coordination accuracy and timely project delivery on site in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years VDC experience
• Proficient in BIM software Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD
• Ability to manage federated models and clash detection
• Experience with point cloud processing for VDC

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced BIM/VDC deliverables on complex projects
• Manage Virtual Construction project setup and model administration
• Coordinate with Field Engineering and Reality Capture teams
• Mentor junior staff and oversee QA/QC procedures
