DoorDash is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the US Indirect Tax Controversy portfolio, overseeing audits across sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, property tax, and business license taxes. You will own the audit management process, the reporting cadence, and cross‑functional data flows with Tax Compliance, Accounting, and Planning.

You will set defense strategy, mentor a Manager and Associate Manager, and personally handle a select set of audits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in state and local tax audits, controversy, or compliance.
• Experience managing audits end to end with state and local auditors.
• Ability to design trackers, cadences, and reporting packages.
• Strong judgment to defend unsettled positions in unsettled tax matters.

• Own execution across the full US indirect tax audit portfolio.
• Design trackers and metrics to clarify exposure by issue and status.
• Build cross-functional channels to secure data and facts for audits.
