Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Market Development Senior Manager to join our Texas market from Austin, Dallas, or Houston. You will lead marketing and business development programs, serve as a strategic partner to office leaders, and drive brand awareness and client development across the Texas offices and beyond.

You will collaborate with Client Growth teams and practice leaders, manage a team if applicable, and measure impact with regular reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum of eight years of marketing and/or sales experience in a professional services firm.
MBA or similar graduate-level degree preferred but not required.
Demonstrated knowledge of global marketplace for professional services.
High level of maturity to interact with sophisticated clients.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and set strategy.
Strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder management.
Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills.
Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and internet research.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing and business development programs to support the Texas market.
Build brand awareness, community and lawyer engagement, client development.
Partner with Office Managing Partners and Client Growth team leaders.
Drive partnerships with local organizations and events to deliver value.
Foster a culture of business development across offices and teams.
Collaborate with Pitches, Proposals, Events, Brand Marketing, CI and practice leaders.
Develop and mentor team members; provide ongoing feedback and growth opportunities.
Measure initiatives and provide regular reporting; co-develop lead generation programs.
