Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Revenue to partner with Product, GTM, Deal Strategy, Legal, and FP&A, shaping how revenue is recognized under ASC 606 for new products and pricing models. This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of product, deals, accounting, and scalable processes.

You will drive technical accounting memos, advise cross-functional teams, and lead initiatives to embed revenue considerations early in decision making, with a fully remote US-based work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and revenue accounting for SaaS/tech businesses.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex issues into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate revenue accounting implications of new products, pricing, and packaging changes.
• Act as strategic advisor to Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, FP&A, Pricing, Product, and GTM leadership.
• Embed revenue accounting considerations early in business initiatives and decision making.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on ASC 606 for Software/SaaS arrangements and contract modifications.
• Review contract write-ups to ensure ASC 606 compliance and support system/process improvements.
