Job summary

Aledade is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting to lead US GAAP financials, SEC filings, and the month‑end close. You will own GL activity, coordinate with auditors and leadership, and drive technical research on complex accounting matters.

The role emphasizes process improvement, cross‑functional partnership, and scalable, faster close with strong controls, while supporting a remote‑first culture across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
• 10–12+ years of accounting and reporting experience with GL and month-end close ownership.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and SEC reporting expertise; SOX controls experience.
• Hands-on experience with close processes, accruals, reconciliations and software capitalization.
• Experience automating or accelerating close using ERP/close-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, US GAAP financial statements, and disclosures.
• Coordinate with external auditors, executives, and Audit Committee as needed.
• Drive research and documentation for complex accounting matters (revenue, stock-based compensation).
• Oversee entries, memos, and close activity; coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Ensure SOX controls and robust internal reporting; prepare covenant-related deliverables.
• Own GL and month-end close, review accruals, software capitalization, reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and acceleration of the close.
