Job summary

Altais Health Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting department and own the monthly close and financial reporting for the company. The role reports directly to the Controller and collaborates across entities to ensure accurate financial statements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with strong GAAP knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and accounting skills.
• Highly analytical with ability to evaluate complex data with limited supervision.
• Self-motivated team player who works independently and takes ownership of tasks.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the financial accounting process including general ledger maintenance, journal entry review, monthly close, balance sheet reconciliation, financial reporting, and budget variance analysis for all AHS entities.
• Ensure hierarchy and scalability in the chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements.
• Participate in the development and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies.
• Assist the Controller in coordinating the annual budget process.
• Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
• Establish internal controls designed to discover and prevent fraud.
