The Virtual Bench is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting in a Houston-based role. You will serve as the US GAAP expert, interpret SEC regulations, and lead the development of accounting policies while supporting the global finance organization.

You will guide complex transactions, lead external reporting, and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure accurate financial governance and policy compliance across the business.

Qualifikationen

• 8–14 years of accounting experience.
• 5+ years in technical accounting.
• Master’s degree in accounting/finance or MBA preferred.
• Active CPA is required.

Aufgaben

• Technical accounting policy development and implementation.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
• Lead external financial reporting and SEC disclosures.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues to management.
• Oversee purchase accounting and valuations in integration work.
• Draft technical accounting memoranda for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with global finance and corporate functions.
