Blend seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to lead the Technical Accounting function during its next growth phase. You will drive complex US GAAP topics, coordinate with external auditors, and implement SOX 404 controls while partnering with Finance, Legal, and other teams.

You will stay current with FASB/SEC changes and help scale the accounting framework, including potential AI initiatives, to improve efficiency and accuracy across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience with concentration on technical accounting.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Responsabilités

• Lead technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex issues.
• Serve as liaison with external auditors to validate accounting positions.
• Design, implement, and operate SOX 404 controls over technical accounting areas.
• Track FASB/SEC initiatives and assess financial impact.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Legal and cross‑functional teams as trusted advisor.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end close for technical accounting matters.
