Lovable seeks a senior technical accountant to own US GAAP conclusions, write auditors-ready position papers, and build scalable reporting as we grow toward IPO readiness.

You'll lead accounting for AI compute, stock-based comp, leases, consolidation, and currency matters, and partner with auditors, tax, and finance to automate disclosures and keep the books accurate in a fast-moving, AI-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• US GAAP expertise with ASC 842 and ASC 718.
• Big 4 background with SEC/reporting exposure.
• Built or upgraded external reporting processes including disclosures.
• Ability to explain complex accounting to engineers in plain English.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building an AI-first function.
• Pragmatic approach to applying accounting guidance to minimize overhead.

Aufgaben

• Own technical accounting: research questions, reach defensible US GAAP conclusions, write position papers for auditors.
• Own accounting for AI compute, cost of revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, consolidation and currency.
• Write and maintain the accounting policy manual and ensure the close team applies it.
• Build external reporting: US GAAP financial statements, footnotes, calendar, and tie-out processes.
• Own local statutory accounting for Swedish and UK entities with local GAAP adjustments.
• Collaborate with the close team to ensure timely adjustments and remediation.
• Coordinate external audits and present significant judgments to the audit committee.
• Assess new standards and SEC requirements and plan adoption.
• Leverage AI tools to draft disclosures and maintain appropriate human oversight.
• Drive public-company readiness including disclosure controls and SOX requirements.
