Job summary

Blend Labs Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to lead our Technical Accounting function and align with Finance, Legal, and external auditors.

You will drive accounting research, guide complex GAAP issues, and oversee SOX controls within a rapidly growing organization. The role requires a CPA with 10+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, Big 4 background preferred, and NetSuite ERP exposure.

Qualifications

• CPA required with 10+ years of progressive technical accounting experience.
• Big 4 public accounting background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to perform independent research.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex matters.
• Design, implement, and operate SOX 404 controls over technical accounting areas.
• Collaborate with external auditors and cross-functional partners across Finance and Legal.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close for technical accounting matters.
