Job summary

CoreWeave, a leading cloud platform for AI, seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to lead the technical accounting function. You will ensure GAAP compliance, provide guidance on complex transactions, and support financial reporting in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Technical Accounting, you will collaborate with Revenue, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and external auditors, develop accounting policies, and mentor a growing team while monitoring new FASB

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA designation required.
• 12+ years of experience leading technical accounting (public accounting Big Four preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to research and interpret complex accounting issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex information clearly.
• Experience with IFRS and international accounting standards.
• Experience in a technology or software company; solid project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions (debt/equity financings, customer contracts, business combinations, embedded derivatives).
• Prepare technical memos covering ASC 842, ASC 360, ASC 606, ASC 805/810, ASC 470, ASC 718, ASC 815, ASC 323.
• Research, interpret, and implement GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Develop, write, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Revenue, FP&A, Tax, Legal to provide accounting expertise.
• Coordinate with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
