Job summary

fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We own compute cost accounting, ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 350-40, ASC 718, and related policy work, partnering with Legal and Infrastructure to ensure accurate GAAP treatment and scalable controls.

As Technical Accounting Lead, you will own the technical accounting agenda, guide month-end close, and work across Finance, Procurement, and external advisors to implement robust processes in a high-growth tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred or required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech/SaaS preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical accounting agenda and month-end close processes.
• Manage compute cost accounting, leases, software capitalization, and SBC accounting.
• Collaborate with Legal, Infrastructure, Strategic Finance and external advisors.
• Develop and document policies and internal controls.
