Job summary

Alexander Wang is seeking a Sr. Manager of Product Development & Production for Sweater Knits in New York. This role leads end-to-end development from proto to bulk delivery, partnering with design to align milestones, quality, and cost.

Responsibilities include cross-functional coordination, vendor management, budgeting, and reporting. A strong background in fully fashion sweater knits and PLM proficiency is required, with leadership and communication skills to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in product development and/or production.
• Experience with fully fashion sweater knitting.
• Strong Excel and PLM proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design Director to drive milestones across development and production.
• Oversee development to finished goods production with focus on quality and cost.
• Manage budgets and approve category invoices with finance visibility.
• Negotiate finished goods costs with vendors to align with goals.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across sourcing, sustainability, operations, fit and findings.
