Alexander Wang is seeking a Sr. Manager of Product Development for Denim and Unisex. The role oversees end-to-end development from concept to SMS approval, directing tech packs, fabric and wash development, and vendor relationships to meet brand standards on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in product development, preferably denim/unisex with end-to-end proto through SMS experience.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and RLM or similar PLM systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage samples, BOMs, and development calendars across multiple seasons.
• Experience working with an in-house atelier.
• Strong verbal and written communication with precision and organization.
• Comfortable cross-functional collaboration across design, materials, and merchandising teams.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Sr. Design Director to drive development milestones and sample calendars.
• Attend denim and unisex reviews; provide technical feedback to keep development on schedule.
• Write complete product knowledge descriptions covering fit, fabric, trim, and wash for every SKU.
• Maintain physical and digital design boards with current fabric and wash details by group.
• Review proto and SMS tech packs for accuracy and completeness.
• Input and maintain style data in PLM from proto to final SMS; set up raw materials each season.
• Coordinate with vendors across regions to ensure on-time development and manage budgets.
