Job summary

Alexander Wang is seeking a Sr. Manager, Production, Accessories to lead day-to-day production operations for handbags and small leather goods. You will own the production calendar, partner with design and development, and drive end-to-end execution while ensuring quality, IMUs, and timely delivery.

You will travel internationally to partner with manufacturers and suppliers. The role calls for 7+ years in global accessories production, with strong sourcing, calendar management, and luxury

Qualifications

• 7+ years of global accessories production experience with handbags/SLG.
• Experience with manufacturing partners across Asia and Europe.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong sourcing and production understanding.
• Luxury leather goods construction, tooling, and calendar management.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain clear production calendars to meet business needs.
• Partner with design, development, and merchandising to bring collections into production respecting cost, quality, and functionality.
• Improve processes and provide a nimble supply chain from beginning to end.
• Coordinate communication with internal partners and external manufacturers and suppliers.
• Lead BOM, pre-production, and production readiness meetings to drive decisions.
• Set directives with material, factory, and costing teams to improve profitability.
• Work with Director on budgets and financial targets.
• Analyze factory cost sheets and negotiate costs to achieve margins.
• Travel internationally for factory reviews and issue resolution.
• Identify and build vendor relationships to meet goals for sample and bulk delivery, costing, and quality.
• Ensure quality protocols and manage schedules with HK operations teams.
• Identify sourcing gaps and propose new suppliers for handbags/SLG.
