Job summary

Alexander Wang is seeking a Sr. Manager, Production, Accessories to lead day-to-day production operations for handbags and SLG, owning the production calendar and ensuring quality, costs, and on-time delivery.

You will partner with design, development, and merchandising to bring seasonal collections to production, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost efficiency across global supply chains. This role requires 7+ years in global accessories production, strong negotiation, cross-functional

Qualifications

• 7+ years of global accessories production experience, with handbags/SLG.
• Experience with manufacturing partners across Asia and Europe.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong sourcing and production understanding.
• Deep construction and manufacturing knowledge of luxury leather goods.
• Advanced handbag/SLG construction, costing, calendar management, and materials.
• Extensive accessories manufacturing knowledge to interpret design intent and resolve issues.
• Cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery, target costs, and quality.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook; RLM experience preferred; AI fluency helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain production calendars to meet business needs for handbags and SLG.
• Partner with design, development, and merchandising to bring seasonal collections into production.
• Improve processes and enable a nimble supply chain from start to finish.
• Coordinate communication between internal partners and external manufacturers and suppliers.
• Lead BOM, pre-production, and production readiness meetings to drive decisions.
• Set directives with material, factory, and costing teams to improve profitability.
• Assist in budgeting with the Director and monitor financial targets.
• Analyze factory cost sheets and negotiate costing to meet margins.
• Travel internationally to manufacturing partners for factory reviews and issue resolution.
• Identify and build vendor relationships to meet sample, bulk, and delivery goals.
