Job summary

alexanderwang llc. is seeking a Sr. Manager of Product Development & Production for Sweater Knits in New York. The role oversees end-to-end development through finished goods shipment, reporting to the VP, Global Product Operations.

The position requires deep knowledge of fully fashion sweater knits, cross-functional collaboration with Design, Production, and Sourcing, and strong budgeting and process improvement skills. Salary ranges provided with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with fully fashion sweater knits or similar product development and production.
• Proficiency in Excel, PLM systems, and image editing tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Design Director of Sweater Knits to drive development milestones and production readiness.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all product in development to ensure quality, on-brand, cost-competitive outcomes.
• Lead workflow improvements for speed-to-market, production efficiency, and capacity management in a design-driven brand.
• Oversee sourcing, development, and counter sourcing of raw materials and manufacturers; manage supplier relationships.
• Track WIP and resolve delays or quality issues with factories and logistics to keep milestones on track.
• Manage development and production budget and approve category invoices in collaboration with finance.
